 Basic Parenting Skills Basic Parenting Skills is an individualized self-paced computer based program. It is designed for parents or care-givers of children from birth to 5 years old. Basic Parenting is based on the belief of the importance of the parents' role in the education of a child. The software curriculum is designed to teach and strengthen the skills needed to play an active role in the child's early years. The program consists of 10 independent courses that are offered in both English and Spanish. Topics include
